Come join The Levantine Kitchen and Northwestern professor and author Wendy Pearlman for a cooking class and discussion on the Syrian refugee crisis and what is happening on the ground in Syria. Wendy will read from her incredible book, “We Crossed a Bridge and It Trembled: Voices from Syria”, and will also talk about Syrians’ experiences of home since the revolution, the focus of a new book she is working on.
